Aleksandra Milojković IV4: How I feel about remote learning

Sit down, open your laptop
Don’t let your grades drop
Something’s wrong, the screen is black
You need to get back on the track
Don’t just stare at your reflection
You have to fix this broken connection
Now you’re ten minutes late
You’re so confused, how great!
The sound is distorted,everything’s glitching
We can’t get used to this way of teaching
Not the best but it’s all we can do
While our planet is plagued by this crazy flu
Let’s be patient, everything will pass.
Just don’t skip your online class!

Valentina Nikolić IV7: How I feel about remote learning

Day 1.
How to start a day properly:
1. Wake up
2. Take your phone to check messages
3. Turn around and fall asleep again

How I started my first day of remote learning:
1. Woke up
2. Took my phone to see if the teacher could connect himself to the Internet
3. Waited for the math teacher to finally unmute herself
4. Couldn't hear anything in the fourth class because of a poor internet connection
5. Had one successful class of computer science (thank God for young teachers)
6. Turned around and finally got back to sleep

Day 23.
5 tips for today:
1. Turn on your camera once in a while, everyone needs a little positivity
2. Don't treat your classes as a podcast
3. Be careful with the mute button
4. Make sure your sister doesn't have a test the same time as you (you learn this the hard way and usually very late in the process)
5. Don't trust the Internet

Facts about remote learning:
1. You are tired all the time, even though you spend most of your day in bed
2. It doesn't seem serious but trust me, it is
3. Internet connection magically disappears when you need it the most
4. Sometimes it doesn't look that way but everyone is trying their best
5. Online classes are still classes
6. You still need to study (TV shows can wait)
7. It's hard on you as much as it' hard on the teachers

Day 45 .
Battery percentage: 26%
Number of pieces of homework: way too many
Test results: 18/20
Days without sweets: not enough
Energy left: 9%

Day 567. (personal feeling)
The worst thing about remote learning:
1. You forget what day it is
2. You think you can study, work out, read a book, have an eight hour sleep, meditate, watch a movie, look through Tiktok and change your life spoiler alert: you can't
3. You are tied up to your laptop whether you like it or not
4. You don't see your friends
5. You have way too much time but somehow never enough
The best thing about remote learning:
1. Close to non-existent
